Remote Command Line for Mac
Remote Command Line is a background management feature that lets you manage a device without opening a full remote desktop session. In Remote Command Line mode:

Commands you enter in the terminal run on the connected device as if entered locally.

The terminal displays the output of each command.
You will need to have the necessary user permissions to access Remote Command Line. Review the permissions needed under Devices > Direct Support in the Permissions Dictionary.
Remote Command Line uses Take Control. If it’s not installed, you will be prompted to download and install the Take Control Viewer.
How to use Remote Command Line
- Go to Views > All Devices and click the Network Devices tab.
- Select the device Name.
- Go to Tools > Command Line.

Select Start Session.

Go to Views > All Devices

In the device's row, under Tools, click the Tools icon

Choose Command Line.

Select Start Session.
